Matthieu Cheminee, author of ‘Legacy: Jewelry Techniques of West Africa’, is a French native who has lived and travelled throughout West Africa. Matthieu will share an overview of his experience writing his book, present slides and short video clips, and partake in a discussion with Fyli Sissoko, a founding member of the Bronze Smiths Initiative of MAGG and a native of Africa with 30 years of jewelry experience.
