Young Artist Development

Providing access to professional development and vocational training.

We plan to address racial inequality by creating new opportunities for young adults in underserved communities and leveraging support for underrepresented young metalsmith artists (young in age or young in career). We will partner with metal arts organizations to offer discounted classes and tools, develop a mentorship/professional development program, and a work/study program. We also plan to partner with vocational schools and/or other organizations in the Atlanta area to teach metalsmithing as a trade to enable entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency.
